Delivery fees

• We offer a flat rate of R110 per order for door-to-door deliveries across South Africa.
• Should you prefer to have your order sent to your nearest Postnet branch for collection, kindly select the Postnet option upon checkout.
  
• Please note that deliveries to some remote areas, remote plots, farms, power stations, game lodges, mines, embassies, hospitals, etc. will result in additional fees, and it is advised to use Postnet collection for these cases instead. Should there be any surcharges, these will be communicated prior to dispatch of the order.
• Kindly note that a fixed delivery fee of R150 applies for artwork, reflecting the extra care and precautions taken to ensure its safe delivery.

Collections

• If you are in the Cape town area, you are welcome to use our pick-up option upon checkout of your purchase. We are based in Paarl.
• As soon as your order is ready, we will email you to arrange a day & time for collection.
• Please bring your confirmation email when you come to collect your order.

Processing of orders

• Orders for in-stock items are processed and shipped within 3 business days of payment clearing in our bank account.
• Most of our items are individually hand-made. Lead times of 2 - 4 weeks may apply depending on workload and stock availability.
• Order processing is Monday to Friday. No orders will be processed over weekends.

Dispatch of orders

• The Courier Guy provides delivery services on behalf of My Starlings and Valley Whisper.
• We only ship within South Africa.
• A tracking number will be provided as soon as your order has been dispatched.
• You will receive a pin code directly from The Courier Guy on the day your parcel is out for delivery. Kindly have this code ready upon delivery.
• Our Courier Partners offer a Monday to Friday (09h00 – 17h00) delivery service.
• No deliveries on weekends or public holidays.
• We cannot guarantee any specific delivery date and time. 

Delivery to Main Centres usually occurs within 2 to 3 business days from the dispatch of an order.
All other deliveries should take place within 5 to 7 business days from dispatch.

We try our best to ensure that your order arrives within the stipulated delivery times or sooner. Of course, there are some things beyond our control, like weather, delivery errors, supplier delays, etc. Regardless of the reason for the delay, we will do our best to inform you as soon as we become aware of any impending delays.

If the Courier company is unable to effect delivery due to incorrect delivery information or unavailability of the purchaser or assigned persons to accept the parcel, the parcel will be returned to the sender, and delivery will be re-routed at the client's expense.
